Playing with some in-game settings in WRC 8 today required a few game restarts, which highlighted the frustrating number of unskippable intro movies on this title (3!), so it was time to clear those out to let the user get on with the driving.
If you wish to do the same, locate the Epic Games folder on your PC and drill down into the subfolders as follows;
Epic Games\WRC8FIAWorldRally\WIN32\Movies
Either delete the following files directly, or as SIRA would recommend: simply create a subfolder and move them into that –
SIRA tested this a few times today, with the game loading directly to a logo image then quickly into the UI. This trick can be applied to most current PC sim racing titles and is at your own risk, note it’s always possible that any Game update or Steam file integrity check may replace these movie files.
